Integrating a new workspace in the center of Brussels, Peter Swinnen invited us to contribute to its development. He was concerned with making the place his own for him and his collaborators, lightening it up, dealing with the surroundings to provide privacy while letting in natural light. The contrasting views on either side of the building inspired us two interventions: a black mesh and a light colored filter on the street side, while at the rear, transfer-printed monotypes stand out in more muted tones. All textile surfaces are finished in raw edges, such as tracing paper.
